OverviewCentral Valley Gas Storage, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE: GAS), is now offering storage services at its market area natural gas storage facility in the Sacramento River valley of north-central California. Central Valley will be providing up to 11 Bcf of working gas capacity, offering flexible, high-deliverability multi-cycle services and hub services. The facility is interconnected with the gas transmission system of Pacific Gas and Electric.
Central Valley has obtained a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the California Public Utilities Commission. The facility began providing firm and interruptible services to wholesale natural gas shippers in April of 2012.

Central Valley Gas Storage, (CVGS), an AGL Resources Inc., company is conducting this request for up to 2.0 Million Dekatherms (Dth) of 2 turn Firm Storage Service. The capacity will be available beginning June 1, 2014. CVGS will consider requests for contract terms of any length. Contract terms with a minimum duration of at least 10 months (expires March 31, 2015) up to 58 months (expires March 31, 2019) are preferred.
The non-binding Request for Interest will begin at 10:00 a.m. CST on Monday, May 19, 2014 and will end at 5:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, May 21, 2014.
